Traditional Hawaii Wedding Ceremonies - A Simply Elegant Wedding

There are many ministers here on Maui, Hawaii and each one has their own wedding ceremonies, one religious wedding ceremony and one spiritual wedding ceremony. These are examples of typical ceremonies. Both of these wedding ceremonies has an optional traditional Hawaii wedding greeting, and a traditional Hawaiian Lei exchange.

If you would like to write your own wedding vows (or vow-renewal vows) or include a reading, that is no problem and the wedding minister simply needs to be notified before the wedding ceremony.

This is the moment when you will share the miracle of your love by joining your lives together with love, respect and joy. This is a sacred vow that will join you together for the rest of your lives. We are witnesses to the vows that you make to each other and join you in your joy. Here, on Maui, you stand before us as individuals, with your individual strengths and personalities, to make a commitment to go on as husband and wife. Your life will be a journey together. May that journey be full of love, joy, learning and contentment. We pray that you travel that road with growing love, truly open hearts and mutual respect. God is joy and through marriage he helps us share that joy not only with each other but with all those that we love.May this marriage enrich the two of you and all that you come into contact with. May your love be as limitless as the sky and as deep as the sea. As it grows may the two of you grow stronger with it. Today you honor each other with loving commitment and the promise of mutual care and compnionship. We support you from deep within our hearts and souls as you enter into this marriage.

Reading from I Corinthians 13:
"Love is patient and kind; love is not jealous or boastful; it is not arrogant or rude. Love does not insert its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrong, but rejoices in the truth. Lo,"" bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends... So faith, hope, love, abide these three, but the greatest of these is love."

All present here today - and those here in heart - wish both of you all the joy, happiness and success and the world has to offer.
